About Us
Sandy Beach - Katepwa Lake
Shoreline Solutions has been in business since 2008 and is currently owned and operated by Mike Ward and family.
Lake living is a big part of our lives. Our family, including three daughters, spends as much time as possible at our cottage at Katepwa.
We started in the dock selling business, mostly because it sounded like fun. It gives us another excuse to spend time at lakes and an opportunity to meet people who share our passion for living and playing by the water. We don't expect to get rich doing it (although we hope we don't go broke doing it too) and we both have satisfying day-jobs that pay the bills (thankfully).
Until we started selling docks, all of our experience in sales was on the buying end as consumers. We know how we like to be treated as customers, so you won't get exaggerated product claims or high pressure sales techniques from us. We also think that retailers should stand behind their products as much as the manufacturers who make them. For this reason, we tell all of our customers to come see us if something breaks - we'll deal with the manufacturer on their behalf and make things right ourselves if need be.
We think we've found some darned nice docks and lifts that weren't available to southern Saskatchewan cottagers before we started selling them. We hope you'll agree.
