AquaDek Decking

Manufactured from hi-impact coloured polypropylene resin, AquaDek panels are a strong, lightweight, and maintenance-free alternative to traditional wood decking. 
 
Strong
AquaDek was invented by Agra Flooring International of Calgary, a company that knows a thing or two about making tough poly products. They ought to – their bread-and-butter product is poly flooring for hog barns. 

It  is likely that your shoreline guests weigh slightly less than a typical adult sow, but if they don’t – no worries, AquaDek panels are designed to withstand loads of up to 1,200 lbs per square foot. So invite the offensive line over - these panels can handle it. 

Lightweight
AquaDek weighs only about half as much as traditional wood decking (8.5 lbs per 2’ X 4’ panel), so it doesn’t add much to the weight of an aluminum dock. You can cover an entire 40’ X 4’ dock and only add 170 lbs.

Maintenance-free
Unlike wood decking, AquaDek panels are UV resistant, won’t splinter or rot, and never need painting or staining. You can put away the scraper and paintbrush, and spend more of your free time on the water.

Wave resistant 
AquaDek doesn’t offer Mother Nature much to push around. Fully 45% of the surface area is holes, so waves just crash right through it. Good news for those of us who have found their wood decking on their neighbour’s beach after a big storm.

Safe and comfortable
AquaDek has a non-slip surface, stays cool in the hot sun, and is engineered for a soft feel on bare feet.

Attractive
Did we mention how good this stuff looks? The panels have rounded edges and a 1/2” flange on one side so each panel overlaps the next for a seamless fit. The colour goes right though so minor scratches won't show.
